Shooting Camps and Clinics
Troubleshooting for "Troubled Shooters"

WHAT is a SHOT DOCTOR Shooting Camp?
•It is a 1 - 4 day local program, concentrating on shooting technique and basic offensive skills, while emphasizing the proper attitude and mental approach to basketball. Teaching activities include: video analysis, drills, contests, lectures, competition and more.

WHO can host a camp?
Any coach with access to a gym who is interested in improved shooting and creating consistency and unity within a program.
Any community with 20-75 kids interested in shooting properly and learning self-improvement skills.

WHEN and WHERE are the camps held?
•Camps are usually hosted during the summer, but can be held anytime campers are available (Christmas, Spring Break, Easter, weekends, etc.).
•Locations include high schools, colleges and community centers in small towns and large cities across America.

WHO and HOW MANY can participate?
•Although the host coach (Camp Director- This could be YOU!) decides what age groups to invite, we encourage participation from boys and girls ages 8-18.
•Camp size varies with the types of facilities and communities, but 25-50 is a typical range.

HOW does it all work?
•The host Camp Director determines the dates for the camp based on gym availability, selects a camp format which fits his/her needs and finally decides the ages of the campers he would like to invite. He then completes an application and sends it to SHOT DOCTOR either by mail, email or over the phone.

•The Camp will then be assigned one of SHOT DOCTOR's Program Directors who will come to the school and direct all aspects of the camp. Host coach co-directs camp and local coaches are hired to assist. SHOT DOCTOR provides all promotional materials and T-shirts, booklets and additional camp supplies.

WHO are the "Program Directors"?
SHOT DOCTOR selects Program Directors based on camp experience, reference, reputation, ability and their commitment to our program. Many of our experienced Directors are Head or Assistant coaches at various collegiate levels, others are high school coaches. They must be, among other things, teachers, motivators, administrators, organizers and most importantly, enthusiastic individuals. We know that
your camp will only be as effective as our Program Director. While we currently have over 50 "Shot Doctors" to call upon, we are always looking for good Program Directors. However, we are very selective. If you are interested in more information on becoming a SHOT DOCTOR Program Director, please call or write today.
